ACEC Missouri will host a membership wide call to report on the legislative session. This call will include the President & CEO, Morgan Mundell, as well as ACEC Missouri’s two lobbyists, Mark Rhoads and Rich Aubuchon. We will review legislation that has been filed, report on current actions of interest to ACEC members and answer any potential questions that members may have about the following week’s events. Join over 60 of your fellow ACEC Missouri members, the Missouri Highways & Transportation Commission (MHTC) and Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) senior leadership for a reception at The Millbottom in Jefferson City. We will also be showcasing our Excellence in Engineering Awards display panels and will hear from MoDOT Director Ed Hassinger and MHTC Commissioner Warren Erdmann. Engineer’s Day in the Capitol Join your fellow engineers from ACEC Missouri, APWA, ASCE and MSPE as we conduct the 2026 Engineer’s Day in the Capitol. We will have time for personal meetings in the Capitol, will be introduced to the Missouri Senate as a group and will be joined by the Speaker of the House, Jon Patterson, for lunch in Capitol Plaza Hotel. We will be convening at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark this year. We will kick the meeting off at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a tour of the St. Louis Cardinals Busch stadium. Thursday morning will be committee meetings, followed by the awards reception and banquet in the evening. Friday morning will be the always popular CEO Roundtable sessions and our board of directors/membership meeting. For the full agenda and to register, click here. The Future Leaders Academy Member Engagement Committee will be hosting it’s first networking event in St. Louis on April 2nd. We are still finalizing our agenda, but the event will be located at Puttshack St. Louis, where you will compete against other members for bragging rights when it comes to putt putt golf! ACEC Missouri will be hosting drinks and appetizers. Registraion will be free, but we are asking for a $20 donation to either the State or National PAC to help support ACEC advocacy efforts. NEW THIS YEAR! Based upon feedback from the membership, ACEC Missouri will be hosting a State PAC Golf Tournament on the eastern side of the state. We highly encourage you to bring clients as this event will feature gift bags of ACEC Missouri branded items, a bloody mary tent to start the morning, and will conclude with an awards reception and prizes at the end of the tournament. Mark your calendars for the ACEC Midwest States Conference to be held in Branson, MO. We are very excited to have ACEC Illinois join us this year, along with ACEC Kansas and ACEC Oklahoma. We are still in the planning stages, but have confirmed Carolyn Kramer Simons, Senior Director of State Funding Policy at the ARTBA Transportation Investment Advocacy Center who will speak on alternative methods of funding roads and bridges. We have also confirmed Jordan Baugh, ACEC National, who will provide a Congressional briefing and inform us of what is taking place in Washington D.C., with an emphasis on water and environmental issues. We will be convening the meeting at Margaritaville Lake Resort for the ACEC Missouri Summer Meeting and Environmental & Energy Conference in Osage Beach. This meeting will include our Casino Royale, committee meetings, FLA graduation, and great speakers for both the meeting and the Environmental & Energy Conference. Finally, don’t forget to mark your calendars for the ACEC Missouri Fall Meeting & Sporting Clays Tournament in Columbia, MO. We'll start the meeting with our annual Sporting Clays Tournament, which we hope to have a record number again for this year. As part of the meeting, we'll have committee meetings, networking opportunities, board of directors/membership meeting, and excellent speakers. This is another great event you don't want to miss out on. We'll let members know as soon as we have details finalized.
